The buds which contains highest concentrations of catechins, are then withered at low temperatures, hand rolled and naturally dried. The processing method allows maximum retention of the antioxidants and polyphenols. Kenyan White tea brews produces a brisky flavor with slight sweetness and teas can be infused severally.
The name “white tea” is derived from the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds of the tea plant, which gives the plant a whitish appearance. The beverage itself is not white or colorless but pale yellow and light to the taste.
The tea is packed in plastic bags that are then packed into carton boxes in the different weights that the customer wants it done.
